For Teens Entering Grade 10

Western/Pre-CIT Program
This program is available to teens entering 10th grade. Giving them the chance to enjoy all the aspects about camp that they loved as campers, while providing them the opportunity to start working with children as a role model and a leader.

Pre-CITs will have the opportunity to work in specialty areas, learning how to teach and work directly with younger campers on skill development and overall programming. They will also have the opportunity to work with bunks of children, becoming a part of the camper’s everyday life, participating with them at activities and helping them throughout the day.

The Pre-CITs will rotate through different areas of camp as Counselors in Training and will also program as their own unit doing all the activities and programs that campers of all ages love! As well, the Pre-CITs that come for the first session will go on a travel trip, which will explore the wonders of the western United States with amazing sightseeing. This trip will travel by air-conditioned charter bus to exciting landmarks. The Rocky Mountains of Colorado and Zion Natural Park are just some of the wonders they will see.
